A chilly but beautiful start to our day as we took our first walk along the beach at Pleneuf-Val-Andre.

Having decided to spend another night here we were soon on our way walking in the opposite direction to yesterday – heading westwards and passing Plage de l’Anse du Pissot looking delightful in the morning sunshine….

We took a moment to take in the views back onto Pleneuf-Val-Andre and along the rugged coastline beyond the entrance to Port du Dahouet….

Continuing on our way we were soon peering down on Plage du Dahouet – not sure how accessible it is….

From here it was downhill all the way to the Port du Dahouet a mostly pleasure craft sheltered marina…

Our destination today lies a couple of miles south of here and we use a mixture of back lanes to arrive at Plage de Port-Morven…

And are rewarded with an almost empty sunny beach to enjoy a play, coffee and just be for an hour or so before hunger drives back more or less the way we came.
Later we head out for a little walk along the beach – still beautiful in the now grey late afternoon sky…

On the way back through the centre of the village we spot these Halloween chocolates…

Thoughts of the day:
- Chocolates and biscuits are a whole new art form over here.
- Sometimes it is nice to stay a couple of nights in the same place and just enjoy the area
Today’s stats:
