A grey and damp morning but even though the wind is picking up it was quite a nice sunny afternoon. We found parking just off the main road above Cayton (dodging the car parking fees are nice again) and wandered along the top for a bit to get a spectacular view of Scarborough in the distance.

We then wandered back towards Cayton Bay…

And down onto the beach itself….

The tide is almost fully in and what little beach there is, is quite busy….

Though we walked along to the far (southern) end and had the beach to ourselves so Poppydog could enjoy some ‘off lead’ time.
