Miserable start to the day, with a fine rain falling until lunchtime when it brightened up, with little bits of sunshine every now and then and a fairly stiff breeze. We decided to stay on site today, but when the weather cleared we walked to the main Pembrey beach, which isn’t dog friendly at this time of year, just for a look see.
Plenty of windsurfers, kite surfers, wind karting and wind skateboarding going on out on the wet sand and sea, so we watched for a little before walking to the dog friendly bit on the south end of the beach.
Deserted as far as the eye could see south and not much going on further north either, just some activity on the shoreline.
So Poppydog was good to go! Though was a bit irritated that I hadn’t brought a ball with me, nor were there any stones to throw, but never fear there were plenty of birds to chase up and down the dunes!
On the way back through the park we spotted these kites flying over a small group of campers.
Two thoughts of the day:
The beach is not as pretty at this end.
I have been sorting out all my photos over the past few weeks and we have visited 125 beaches so far on our travels!
