We moved into our lovely holiday cottage in Ruan Minor, yesterday and how lovely, warm and cozy it is too! It certainly was and is a reunion to remember and lovely to spend time together – Holly, my daughter, who has been living in Vancouver since July, my Dad and younger brother Paul, who live outside London and haven’t seen since June, Tom, my son and his girlfriend Meg, who moved to a new home and new jobs in Truro at the end of September and myself and Poppydog, who of course have been travelling since October. Happy days!
This morning, though mizzly, we went for our favourite walk here, through the fields from Ruan Minor to the coastal path up above Cadgwith – we met Poppydog’s old running pal, Leonard the Whippet, though she was a bit short with him today as she just wanted to run, sniff and explore on her own – I’ve no doubt they will catch up another time!
